Teams and Policies Out of Alignment: Where AI Efforts Stall

Stalling

75% of enterprise AI projects stall, are canceled, or fail to deliver ROI—primarily due to employee resistance and lack of stakeholder buy-in.

Resistance

Most failed AI initiatives can be traced back to workforce reluctance or insufficient training, not technology limitations.

Losses

AI-driven projects regularly cost companies in the tens of billions due to poor adoption and project abandonment.

Organizations waste billions when AI adoption stalls. The primary risk is misalignment between policies, leadership, teams, and individuals. Our workshops reduce that risk by equipping employees and leaders with practical, repeatable tools.

Why It Matters

The fastest way to create AI risk is to roll out tools without preparing your people.

Our workshops help embed AI policy and roadmaps into daily decisions so compliance is practiced every day, not left in a document nobody uses.

How It Works

Leadership advisory first

Planning sessions and optional deep dives into team and leadership dynamics using tools like the Harrison Assessment help align the workshop with organizational goals and team realities. We use this to link individuals with policy and outcomes.

Coach-led process

Facilitators tailor exercises to real roles and decisions. This is hands-on, not lecture-based.

Workshops

Live and interactive. Two half-day virtual sessions or a one-day in-person intensive.

Follow-on coaching

Optional 1 to 1 or small group coaching by ICF certified coaches help long term accountability and application into day to day work.

Why it Works:

Values-aligned:
Connect AI to mission, goals, and careers so adoption feels natural.
Role-specific:
Hands-on exercises mapped to real decisions, not lectures.
Aligning safely:
We help people work within existing guardrails and governance frameworks, reducing compliance and reputational risk.

Utibe Bassey
Author, Love as a KPI
“I truly enjoyed the experience of this workshop and learned a great deal. It helped me recognize how unintentional I had been in my use of technology and the risks that come with that. I also discovered how small shifts can create a big impact. I now see how much more productive, values-aligned, and precise I can be in my day-to-day, often routine, engagement with technology. This experience has given me practical tools and a fresh perspective that I can carry forward.”

Miye McCullough
Communications and Marketing Leader
“I’ve been using AI tools and would say I have moderate to advanced skills, and was incredibly surprised by how much I learned. The workshop broke things down in a way that contextualized my experience with both the tools I already use and the ones I’m considering. It’s like having a framework for identifying where human oversight is critical in decision-making — a new checkpoint system. Having worked with and trained teams that often can’t agree on which tools to adopt, I now see that the challenge isn’t only about which

FAQ

How is Intentional Technology different from other AI training?

Most training starts with tools and features. We start with people and the real work they need to get done. Our sessions connect AI directly to your roles, values, and organizational policies, so adoption feels natural and risk is reduced.

Do you replace technical training?

No, Intentional Technology complements it. Technical training shows how tools work. We show people when, why, and whether to use them responsibly.

What’s included in the training?

Each program combines advisory, interactive workshops, and optional follow-on coaching. Participants leave with a values-aligned AI plan, a shared language for decision-making, and a personal toolkit they can apply immediately.

Can this help us build an AI policy?

Yes. Although this is separate from our training programs, we can help you translate high-level AI goals into simple, role-specific practices that staff actually follow. That reduces compliance and reputational risk while increasing adoption.

How much time does it take?

Workshops are delivered in two half-day virtual sessions or one full-day in-person intensive. Optional coaching extends the learning into day-to-day application without adding heavy time commitments.

Is it customized for our team / organization?

Yes. Discovery sessions and optional assessments ensure content is mapped to your goals, culture, and team realities. We adapt examples and exercises to reflect real decisions your people face.

What size teams do you work with?

We’ve supported individuals, small nonprofit groups of under 20 and enterprise cohorts of 1000+. The format scales to fit your organization’s structure and needs.

How do you address risk and compliance?

We align teams to plain-language guardrails from the start, helping them ask the right questions about data, privacy, and outcomes. Every participant builds a role-specific plan that your compliance team can review and audit.

What outcomes can we expect?

Organizations and leaders report reclaimed hours, reduced compliance risk, and stronger employee engagement.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Absolutely. We can provide ongoing coaching, transformation leadership, and reusable resources to help teams sustain adoption and adjust as tools evolve.

What kind of risk does this address?

We help reduce compliance, brand / reputational, and operational risks by teaching teams how to use AI safely and consistently.

How does this fit with compliance mandates?

The AI Decision Blueprint and personal toolkits give your compliance team a structure that makes policies practical, auditable, and scalable across roles.
